Atlas of Flood Adaptation Design Actions
Part of PhD Research activities
The Atlas of Flood Adaptation Design Actions is a tool to support decision-making in flood risk management by offering a diverse portfolio of design actions. It helps practitioners, communities, and authorities explore a wide range of opportunities across spatial scales and governance settings.

The Atlas for Flood Adaptation Design Actions serves as a tool to support systemic and participatory approaches to flood adaptation. It offers a knowledge-based framework that extends beyond the co-design phase, enabling the exploration of diverse design possibilities.

The Atlas is intended as a starting point—not a closed list—for adaptation, deliberately excluding coastal-specific measures to focus on riverine and pluvial contexts.

Created through literature, case studies, and on-field explorations, the Atlas responds to the growing need to harmonise adaptation measures across frameworks.
