Smart control of the climate resilience in European coastal cities (SCORE)

Part of the Institute for Housing and Urban Development Studies (IHS) team.

The Smart Control of the Climate Change Resilience in European Coastal Cities (SCORE)l is a 4-year project that outlines an inclusive strategy for enhancing the overall long-term resilience of coastal areas. The project’s main concept focuses on 10 coastal city living labs (CCLLs) in Europe, enabling cooperation between citizens and stakeholders to create sustainable solutions.

IHS leads Work Package 2: Coastal City Living Lab design, implementation, and evaluation. The institute is also a member of Work Package 6, which focuses on the socio-economic assessment of adaptation strategies and policy recommendations. The team is led by Elena Marie Enseñado.

 

In March, April, and May 2022, IHS staff Laura Quadros AnicheFrancesca VanelliCharmae Nercua, and Indriany Lionggo visited the ten coastal city living labs as part of WP2.
